In Part 1, I outlined the initial design of my new 12 lb combat bot.
I'm getting pretty good at
judging the weight as I design, but I
still carefully check to make sure it's
going to be under the weight limit.
This is done by making sure the
correct material is called out in the
3D model so that the weight of each
part can be determined long before
an actual part is made.
I also have an accurate set of
scales to weigh the parts I already
