You will need a 7/32 or 5. 5 mm wrench
(Figure 8). Either one will work. You will also
need a 1.5 mm allen wrench (Figure 9). This
wrench was included with your MF70.
Start by loosening the three nuts on the X
axis carriage as shown in Figure 10. Next —
using the 1.5 mm wrench — snug each of the
grub screws against the gib as in Figure 11.
You want the screws to be tight enough to
remove any play on the table. Don't make
them so tight, though, that you lock the axis
Once you are satisfied with your grub
screw adjustments, use the nut to lock them
in place. To do this, hold the grub screw with
the allen wrench as you tighten the nut.
Repeat the process on the Y axis using
the three screws shown in Figure 12. You
may have to move the Y axis so the table
mounting screws are not in your way.
