On the Z axis, you will need to remove the lock screw
shown in Figure 13. Repeat the process on the Z axis using
the two screws in Figure 14. Before moving on, use the
arrow keys and move your CNC to all extents to make sure
you did not over-tighten the screws. Be sure you try moving
at full speed when testing.
MF70 Break-In
You will need two files to break in your MF70. These
are called MF70 fasttest 4x1.txt and MF70 slowtest 4x1.txt.
These files are available at the article link and can also be
downloaded from the
kronosrobotics.com website.
Before loading the files, you need to zero your X, Y,
and Z axes. To do this, move the Z axis down as far as it
will go. Move the X axis table to the far right, and the Y
axis to the rear (Figure 15).
Next, set your zero reference points by hitting the three
zero axis buttons shown in Figure 16.
