ION Autonomous Lawnmower Competition
Beavercreek, OH
The cutting edge (sorry couldn’t resist) of
autonomous lawn care robotics. There are events
for basic and advanced autonomous mowing.
The basic event is a rectangular yard with a
single non-moving obstacle. The advanced event
is an L-shaped yard with multiple moving and
non-moving obstacles, as well as a bordering
fence.

The Guinness Book of World Records says this is
the largest open robot competition in the world.
Wired Magazine says it’s one of the 10 best
North American Geek Fests. Expect to see over
