Robot Roadmap Available
In case you didn't realize it, there
is a Congressional Robotics Caucus
(CRC, www.roboticscaucus.org)
that was formed in 2007 "to focus on
key issues facing the nation's robotics
industry and related emerging
technology." In its list of goals, the
caucus observes, "Robots go where
it's dirty, dull, or dangerous," so it's
obvious that they must be right at
home in the halls of Congress. Every
year, the CRC compiles its Roadmap
for US Robotics with the assistance of
Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, and a slew of other
industry experts, and prints it up for whoever is
