I added my stacking header next. Make sure the female end faces down
towards the Pi board because desoldering that connector would likely ruin it.
I then added a ground wire from the Pi header area to one side of the
common pin of the SIP resistor, and another wire to the ground bus. A small
jumper connected a small bussed area to
ground to prepare for a screw terminal.
A red LED indicates when the motor
batteries are connected. It’s connected
to the positive side of the screw terminal
(on the left) and to ground through a
470 ohm resistor. Note the ground wires
to the SIP resistor from the Pi header
and the electrolytic capacitor connected
to battery power and ground.
