the racks: one along the X axis, and the other motor along
the Y axis. Figure 13 shows a close-up of the X axis rack
drive.
8. X-Y Axis Trolley Mount. Remarkably, at this stage,
the entire printer is extremely square and level. Use 90°
dual side mounts for connecting the pillow block bearings
to the gear rack beams. Everything is mounted and ready
for a test in Figure 14.
9. 3Doodler. A 3Doodler is used in lieu of a hot end,
thermistor, and extruder. There are two brass fitted M3
mounting holes on the bottom front of the 3Doodler. These
mounting holes are used for attaching it to the printer. A
rubber boot on the top side of the 3Doodler is removed for
exposing two operational switches. One of these switches
