Machined Aluminum Sensor Stands

Parallax has recently added four new sensor stands to their current lineup. The PING))) Protector Stand ($14.99) is a precisely machined mounting bracket cut from 1/4 in thick high-grade aluminum. With easy installation, this stand can attach the PING))) ultrasonic distance sensor to a robot and protect the sensor from most collisions.

Key features include: • Designed to protect the PING))) from damage.

• Hardware to connect the sensor to the stand is included.

• Custom CNC machined from

6061 high-grade aluminum.

• Aperture and plastic light pipe included to allow for visual check of sensor function while mounted to stand.

The next precision-machined bracket mount is for the Lightware SF10 series laser range finders ($24.99). The stand is made from high-grade aluminum, and it conveniently positions and protects the laser range finder in both stationary and mobile applications. Assembly is quick and easy, with the necessary mounting hardware included.
